What Wikipedia Says About the Mating Rituals of Bald Eagles:

Bald Eagle courtship involves elaborate calls and flight displays. The flight includes swoops, chases, and cartwheels, in which they fly high, lock talons, and free fall, separating just before hitting the ground. Bald Eagles mate for life....just like humans (haw haw haw!).

"Klopstock?"

The springtime festival
(1. edition, 1759)

Not into the ocean
of the worlds
do I want to plunge myself

Not to float amongst those created first
Where the son of lights' choirs of rejoicing
Pray, deeply pray to
And melt in delight

Only for that drop upon the bucket
Just to float around the earth
and pray!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
That drop upon the bucket also
flowed from the hand of the almighty!
